"Perché perdere tempo con internet, se c’è una fila di donne alla mia porta?"

Ribatté lo Spirito di Contraddizione:
"Allo stesso modo: perché perdere tempo a leggere, se c’è una fila di donne alla mia porta?"

Intervenne lo Spirito di Mediazione:
"Forse è per questo che sono in arretrato con tutte le letture?"


Si domandò il Lettore:
"È una mediazione questa? E tra che cosa?"


Concluse il Saggio:
"Non c’è eros senza sapere!"

The Sage wondered:
“Why should I waste my time on Internet, while there is a queue of women waiting at my door?”

Contrariness replied:
“You might as well ask yourself: Why should I waste my time on reading, while there is a queue of women waiting at my door?”

Mediation meddled:
“Is it because of this, then, that I am so behind with my reading?”

The Reader asked:
“ And this is what you call a ‘mediation’? A mediation between what?”

The Sage concluded:
“There is no eros without knowledge!”
